Trauma responsive training

Children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing training for parents, carers, professionals and volunteers.

At Kids Inspire, we provide trauma responsive training to help adults better understand and respond to the emotional needs of children and young people.

Who is it for?

Our training is designed for anyone supporting children and young people, including:

  • parents, carers, family members

  • teachers and school staff

  • health professionals

  • social care and youth workers

  • other professionals working with children and families

Why do we offer training?

At Kids Inspire we take a holistic approach, working with all the adults around children and young people.

Our training helps adults feel more confident in understanding children and young people’s emotional needs and mental health, responding to behaviour, and recognising when additional support may be helpful.

We aim to support consistency between home, school and care, so children and young people experience joined-up understanding and support wherever they are.
