Delivered by Sue Bell, OBE DL, an experienced therapist and qualified attachment and trauma resolution specialist,  this session blends expert insight with hands-on learning.

Who is this training for?

Designed for professionals and parent/carers who want to build their understanding and support children and young people confidently.

Through an interactive and creative approach, you’ll explore trauma-informed interventions and the power of the arts in supporting recovery. Discover how to help young people reduce trauma-related symptoms and build their capacity for learning, resilience, self-regulation, positive relationships, and joy.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to recognise behaviours linked to traumatic experiences

  • How the brain responds to keep us safe

  • The impact of trauma on behaviour and emotional regulation

  • Practical tools and techniques to support stabilisation and regulation

This session is highly interactive, and we invite you to create a comfortable space, and have the following to hand:

  • Paper and coloured pens/pencils

  • Playdough or clay

  • Pillows and blankets
