Trusts and Foundations
As a Children’s mental health charity, we are incredibly grateful to the trusts and foundations whose generosity, alongside our charity fundraising activities, enables us to deliver life-changing therapeutic support to children, young people, and families across the UK.
Why Trusts and Foundations matter
Trusts and foundations play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission: for every child in the UK to receive specialist support to become a healthy adult with a fulfilling life. Many of the children and families we support have experienced trauma or complex emotional needs. Our trauma-informed approach, grounded in the latest developments in neuroscience, enables healing and lasting change.
Your support — whether through grant funding or charity fundraising activities - helps fund therapy, family interventions, and professional training that wrap around the whole system surrounding the child, reaching them when it matters most.
How our work is funded
As a charity, we rely on a blend of funding streams to ensure we can continue offering flexible, child-centred support. Our income comes from:
Charity fundraising activities such as sponsored events, community-led initiatives, and challenge events
Commissioned services, where we work in partnership with local authorities, ICBs, schools, and councils
Grants from trusts and foundations that enable us to deliver vital therapeutic programmes
This multi-source approach gives us the flexibility to respond to children’s diverse needs, from short-term early interventions to intensive trauma recovery therapy.
What we offer Funders
We welcome partnerships with trusts and foundations that want to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
We provide:
Clear impact reporting with anonymised case studies
Evidence-based outcomes
A collaborative approach to funding programme development and delivery
Opportunities to co-fund projects with localised reach (in Essex and Suffolk)
Whether it’s funding a specific project, scaling up a proven intervention, or supporting our core work, your grant could change a young life forever.
