Communication and language difficulties

Communication and language difficulties

Delivered by Kids Inspire therapists, Karen , Debbie and Kelly

Cost: £40

Did you know 10% of children in every classroom have communication difficulties?

These challenges are often invisible – but they can have a detrimental and long-lasting impact affecting behaviour, relationships, and wellbeing.

Who is this training for?

This training is designed for professionals working with neurodivergent children and young people in a range of settings, including schools, health, social care, voluntary sector and therapeutic services.

It is intended for those supporting children and young people in any professional capacity.

What you’ll learn:

  • how communication differences show up and how to recognise these difficulties

  • using creative tools to support young people and families to facilitate and encourage communication and understanding

  • why these difficulties are often missed or misunderstood

Delivered by experienced practitioners, this session will give you the confidence to identify and effectively support children whose communication differences may otherwise go unnoticed and unsupported.
