Regulation

Regulation

Delivered by Kids Inspire therapists, Helen and Wendy

Cost: £40

Parents, caregivers, teachers, and professionals all play a vital role in helping children and young people feel safe, understood, and connected. But how often do we pause to consider the impact of our own nervous system and emotional regulation on the relationships we build?

If you are supporting neurodivergent children and young people, or those who have experienced trauma, this workshop offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding, increase self-awareness, and develop practical strategies that can make a meaningful difference to relationships, wellbeing, and growth.

Who is this training for?

This training is designed for parents, carers, and family members, as well as professionals working or volunteering with children and young people.

It is suitable for anyone supporting children and young people in either a personal or professional capacity.

What you’ll learn

  • embodied self-regulation and why it matters

  • how your own nervous system influences the children and young people around you

  • practical tools for developing emotional resilience

  • creating co-regulated, safe, and responsive environments at home, in school, and in professional settings

Whether you're navigating the challenges of parenting, caring, teaching, or supporting young people professionally, this workshop will help you strengthen connection, build confidence, and create the conditions for children and young people to thrive.
