Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is the easiest way to make a regular tax-free donation to Kids Inspire.

What is Payroll Giving?

Donations are taken each month from your gross salary before tax is deducted, which means immediate tax relief on your donation.

Anyone who pays UK tax through PAYE can donate through Payroll Giving.

Payroll Giving is a valuable, long-term source of income for charities. Regular donations help us budget and plan ahead, helping us to make a lasting difference.

How much can I donate through Payroll Giving?

Choose any amount to give through Payroll Giving. There is no minimum or maximum donation.

Because donations are deducted before tax, the cost to you is less than the amount the charity receives.

The charity receives your full donation amount.

Cost of a £10 monthly donation

  • Basic-rate taxpayer (20%): £8

  • Higher-rate taxpayer (40%): £6

  • Additional-rate taxpayer (45%): £5.50

Next steps

Speak to your employer and find out if they are already members of a Payroll Giving Scheme.

Giveall

We recommend Giveall, a HMRC-approved, fully automated platform that is 100% commission-free. There are absolutely no fees deducted.

However you can also find other payroll-giving agencies.

If your circumstances change and you want to cancel or change your donation, speak to your employer and they can do that for you. If you move jobs, please start a new scheme (or request to join) with your new employers.

How your donation could change a life

Your support can help young people reclaim their future and live full lives.

“I find it hard to talk to my parents without getting angry. When I spoke to someone at Kids Inspire on my own, we talked about my angry feelings and what I liked and what I didn’t” - Henry 8
