Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge 2026

Kids Inspire charity places for the 2026 Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!

We are organising a team to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!

We initially have 10 places reserved. If you, your friends, or family are interested in participating, please email fundraising@kidsinspire.org.uk to secure your spot.

Key Requirements

  • £50 registration fee (due upon confirmation)

  • sponsorship goal: raise a minimum of £250 per person

Challenge itinerary

The challenge starts promptly at 5:30 AM in Chapel le Dale. We will be walking anti-clockwise, tackling Ingleborough first, followed by Pen-y-Ghent, and finishing with Whernside.

  • 5:30 am: Check-in opens and safety briefing - Chapel le Dale (next to The Old Hill Inn)

  • Before 6:00am: Start challenge

  • 8:00am: Summit - Ingleborough

  • 10:00am: Water stop and toilets - Horton-in-Ribblesdale

  • 11:30am: Summit - Pen-y-Ghent

  • 2:30pm: Second water stop - Ribblehead Viaduct

  • 4:30pm: Summit - Whernside

  • 6:00pm: Target completion time - Finish at Chapel le Dale

Logistics and planning

  • Accommodation: Participants must arrange and fund their own overnight stays. You can find a list of local venues here: Accommodation List

  • Parking: Free parking is provided at the campsite next to The Old Hill Inn. (Postcode: LA6 3AR).

  • Post-challenge: Excellent food is available at The Old Hill Inn if you wish to stay and celebrate!
