There are lots of children's charities doing brilliant work. Each has its own approach and so do we. In one word, it's time – the time that's needed to help children transform their lives. We all know how important our early years are for the rest of our lives, and we all know there are no quick fixes if we have had to face extreme and unusual challenges. That's why we are there for as long as it takes.

We have to fundraise to pay for over 50% of our work, you can help by contributing as little as £3.00 per month.

£3 a month could help pay towards a fun day out for a neglected child.

£5 a month could help buy books for a child – storytelling is a magical part of childhood. Hearing a story a child can identify with can help that child to open up and voice how they are feeling.

£10 could help to buy art materials – the gift of art materials allows a child to create a picture that can express a thousand words.

£20 Puppet power – puppets can talk to children in ways that they can relate to, and so they can become friends children can trust.

£25 a one-to-one play session with a play therapist – giving the child opportunities to explore their feelings and anxieties.

£50 A dolls house - a child playing with a dolls house often re-enacts scenes from family life – this gift can provide time for a child who has experienced violence in their own home to talk to one of our counsellors.

£500 The bigger picture – our therapy rooms need to be constantly restocked with new material such as crayons, puppets, paints, toys, books.
