Volunteers play a vital part in ensuring that more children are heard, understood and supported.
By donating your time and skills, you too could help us to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children. We offer a wide range of local volunteering roles that are flexible enough to suit your lifestyle, interests and availability.
Volunteering is not all about helping others. We will do our best to ensure that you benefit from your new role as much as we do. Your volunteer role will allow you to:
Volunteers make a massive difference to the work of our charity. Our volunteers help us to achieve so much more than would be possible without them.
- meet other people, give talks or enjoy being part of a team.
- gain valuable experience, develop a talent and learn new skills.
- increase your confidence and feel positive about using your skills.
From working directly with children, young people, and families, to supporting our fundraising efforts, you can make Chelmsford a better place by volunteering with us. Volunteering offers opportunities to try new things, gain skills, and to widen your horizons. You might be looking for a change in career and need some experience, or just want to try something different.
No matter what role you have with us, we will make sure you have all the training and support you need to get the most out of your volunteer experience.
