Kids Inspire - supporting families

The aim of Kids Inspire is to meet the needs of families who may be experiencing stress and strains for a variety of reasons whether to do with family circumstances or the vulnerability and needs of individual children. Kids Inspire aims to support children so they can do well in school and develop happily within their family. Kids Inspire have lots of different ways to help parents and children. This includes counselling and therapy for adults and children, family therapy and work, parenting and practical support, group work, creative and sports activities and alternative therapies.

Generally schools identify the children who they feel we will be best able to help. As we develop we would also like to accept direct referrals from parents or children. We would not see any child of primary school age without parents' permission. We always include parents in assessment and keep them informed of work that they are not directly involved in. Kids Inspire operates to child protection procedures in line with expectations of any agency working with children and young people.
