Essex Cricket announce new partnership with Kids Inspire [added 03/06/11]

Kids Inspire is proud to be chosen as the chosen charity for Essex Cricket during the 2011 season. We will work together over the coming season improving the lives of disadvantaged children in the county.

Kids inspire currently supports over 1500 children throughout Essex. Our work in schools helps to identify and address vulnerabilities in children, which might otherwise have gone undetected. By reducing these and other emotional barriers to learning we help to re-engage children with academic tasks. Through therapy, opportunity, love and care we make a real difference and empower children to become successful happy adults.

This opportunity to work with Essex County Cricket Club is fantastic and will help us to provide hope to our families.

Essex Cricket is delighted to be forming a partnership with the Kids Inspire charity for the 2011 season. The work of the charity fully operates in comparison to areas of the Club that are very important with the development of cricket to young people.

Danny Macklin, Essex Cricket’s Commercial Manager, said, “The Club is looking to form a strong relationship with Kids Inspire charity as we can offer support to the work they do as well as offering a new level of exposure that we feel they deserve through their day to day operation. Essex Cricket is dedicated through our development work with youngsters and we believe that is an ethos shared by Kids Inspire.”
